Thank you for registering for Calvary Chapel Sarasota’s youth summer camp! I am personally looking forward to this amazing opportunity to spend a week in Tennessee having fun and seeking God together. Here are a few important details:

This year’s camp is August 3-8, 2009. We will be lodging in a 2-story cabin in Horn’s Creek, Tennessee. We will be whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, and spending time at the resort for 4 days. We will also be visiting Six Flags over Georgia in Atlanta and sightseeing!

The cost is $250/person. This cost is based on mandatory fundraising events we will host throughout the summer. These include car washes, spaghetti dinners, date nights, and a huge yard sale. We will have more information on UNIFYER or at the summer camp blog (visit www.zerogravity.cc and follow the SUMMER link).

On Sunday, May 7, at 1pm, there is a mandatory parent/student/leader meeting regarding our camp. We will meet for one hour in the church sanctuary. In this informal setting we will answer any and all questions, run through our itinerary & expectations for the week of camp, and complete and notarize the necessary release forms. Please bring a checkbook, your child’s medical insurance information, and any questions you had! If you can’t make the meeting physically, we will broadcast it live via video on our website: www.calvarychapelsarasota.com.
